What is a Tequila Western?
A Tequila Western is a western that takes place primarily in Mexico and must include at least one Tequila state. And, this western typically takes place between 1800 and 1900. Other distinctive elements may include: guns, blades, rifles, machetes, some killing, adequate amounts of sex, minimal quantities of romance and Spanish, some fantastical features, and man’s search and journey for meaning and purpose in life.
